Abstract
This thesis presents a comprehensive study on the design and implementation of a Sustainable Community Center for a Rural Area. The project aims to address the unique challenges faced by rural communities in accessing essential services and facilities by providing a sustainable and multi-functional space that caters to the diverse needs of the community. The research methodology employed in this study includes a detailed literature review, site analysis, stakeholder consultations, and the development of design proposals. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the thesis. The chapter also includes a definition of key terms to provide clarity on the concepts discussed in the study. Chapter Two comprises a comprehensive literature review that explores existing knowledge and research on sustainable community centers, rural development, sustainable architecture, and community engagement. This chapter aims to provide a theoretical framework for the design and implementation of the Sustainable Community Center.
