Abstract
The integration of archaeological sites into tourism development has become increasingly significant in enhancing cultural heritage preservation and promoting sustainable tourism. This thesis explores the impact of archaeological sites on tourism development through a case study of a historical destination. The study aims to investigate the relationship between archaeological sites, tourism development, and cultural heritage preservation, focusing on the opportunities and challenges faced in leveraging these sites for tourism purposes. The research methodology employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative data collection through interviews and observations with quantitative data analysis of tourist visitation patterns and economic impacts.
