Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to investigate the impact of archaeological tourism on the protection of rock art sites. Rock art, comprising ancient paintings and engravings on natural rock surfaces, is a valuable cultural heritage that attracts tourists from around the world. However, the increased visitation to these sites raises concerns about potential damage and vandalism. This study will examine the relationship between archaeological tourism and the preservation of rock art, exploring the challenges faced and the strategies employed to protect these fragile sites. The findings will contribute to the development of sustainable management practices for rock art tourism. <br></p>
