Thesis Abstract

<p> This research project aims to explore the ethical considerations in archaeological tourism. Archaeological sites and artifacts are non-renewable resources that require careful management and protection. However, the increasing popularity of archaeological tourism raises ethical concerns regarding site conservation, artifact looting, and the treatment of human remains. This study will investigate the ethical dilemmas faced by tourists, site managers, and local communities in the context of archaeological tourism. It will examine the existing ethical guidelines and codes of conduct in the field and explore their effectiveness. The findings of this research will contribute to the development of ethical frameworks for archaeological tourism. <br></p>
