Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for animal protein globally. Broiler chickens, in particular, are one of the primary sources of meat production. The growth performance of broiler chickens is influenced by various factors, with feeding strategies being a key determinant. This thesis aimed to investigate the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance of broiler chickens. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance of the study, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The literature review in Chapter Two covers ten key aspects related to broiler chicken nutrition, growth performance, and different feeding strategies adopted in poultry production. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, including experimental design, sample collection, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. The findings from the study are extensively discussed in Chapter Four, highlighting the impact of various feeding strategies on the growth parameters of broiler chickens. The results of the study indicate that different feeding strategies significantly influence the growth performance of broiler chickens, including weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status.
