Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for high-quality protein sources. The growth performance of poultry is influenced by various factors, including nutrition. Feed additives are commonly used in poultry diets to improve growth rates, feed efficiency, and overall health. This study aimed to investigate the effects of different feed additives on the growth performance of poultry. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, the problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. The literature review in Chapter Two covers ten key items related to feed additives, poultry nutrition, growth performance, and previous research findings. Chapter Three details the research methodology, including the research design, sample selection, data collection methods, experimental procedures, statistical analysis, and ethical considerations. The findings of the study are discussed in Chapter Four, where the effects of various feed additives on poultry growth performance are analyzed and interpreted in detail. The results of this study suggest that the type and level of feed additives significantly impact the growth performance of poultry. Factors such as feed conversion ratio, body weight gain, and mortality rate were affected by the different additives tested. The discussion also explores the mechanisms through which these additives influence poultry growth and potential implications for the industry.
