Abstract
The poultry industry plays a significant role in meeting the growing demand for animal protein worldwide. Broiler chickens are a major component of this industry, and optimizing their growth performance and nutrient utilization is crucial for sustainable and efficient production. This research project aimed to explore the effects of different feeding strategies on the growth performance and nutrient utilization of broiler chickens. The study began with a comprehensive review of existing literature on broiler nutrition, growth performance, and feed utilization. The literature review highlighted the importance of nutrition in maximizing broiler growth and efficiency, emphasizing the need for tailored feeding strategies to meet the specific requirements of broiler chickens at different stages of growth. The research methodology involved a series of feeding trials using different feed formulations and feeding strategies. Parameters such as feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, nutrient digestibility, and overall growth performance were carefully monitored and analyzed. The trials were conducted under controlled conditions to minimize external factors that could influence the results. The findings of the study revealed significant differences in growth performance and nutrient utilization among the various feeding strategies tested. Certain feed formulations led to improved growth rates and feed efficiency, while others showed limited effectiveness in supporting optimal growth.
