Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the global demand for animal protein. In this context, improving the growth performance of broiler chickens is essential for sustainable production and economic viability. This study investigates the effects of dietary supplements on the growth performance of broiler chickens, aiming to provide valuable insights into enhancing productivity in poultry farming. Chapter One introduces the research by presenting the background of the study, the problem statement, research objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and key definitions. The literature review in Chapter Two critically examines existing research on dietary supplements and their impact on broiler growth performance. Chapter Three details the research methodology, covering aspects such as sample selection, data collection methods, experimental design, dietary supplement formulation, feeding protocols, and performance evaluation criteria. The study design includes a control group and treatment groups receiving different dietary supplements to compare growth parameters such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rates. Chapter Four presents a comprehensive discussion of the research findings, analyzing the effects of dietary supplements on growth performance indicators. The results are interpreted in light of existing literature and implications for practical application in poultry production are discussed.
