Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of probiotics on the growth performance and gut health of broiler chickens. The use of probiotics in animal feed has gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential benefits in improving animal growth and health. In this study, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to understand the current knowledge on probiotics and their effects on broiler chickens. The research methodology involved a controlled feeding trial where broiler chickens were divided into two groups one receiving a probiotic-supplemented diet and the other receiving a standard diet without probiotics. Various parameters, including growth performance indicators and gut health markers, were measured and analyzed. The introduction provides an overview of the research topic, highlighting the importance of probiotics in animal nutrition and the potential benefits they offer to broiler production. The background of the study explores the existing literature on probiotics and their mechanisms of action in improving animal health.
