Abstract
The poultry industry plays a crucial role in meeting the increasing demand for quality protein sources worldwide. Among poultry species, broiler chickens are extensively reared for meat production. The growth performance of broiler chickens is influenced by various factors, with nutrition being a key determinant. In recent years, dietary supplements have gained attention for their potential to enhance growth performance and overall productivity in broiler chickens. This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplements on the growth performance of broiler chickens. The research was conducted using a randomized controlled trial design, where broiler chickens were assigned to different dietary supplement groups and a control group. The dietary supplements included vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and probiotics, known for their beneficial effects on poultry growth. The growth performance parameters assessed included body weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rate. The findings of the study revealed significant improvements in growth performance metrics among broiler chickens receiving dietary supplements compared to those in the control group. The supplemented groups exhibited higher body weight gain, improved feed efficiency, and reduced mortality rates. These results suggest that dietary supplements have the potential to enhance the growth performance of broiler chickens and contribute to improved productivity in the poultry industry.
