Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of probiotics on the growth performance and gut health of broiler chickens. With the rising concerns about antibiotic resistance and the need for sustainable poultry production practices, the use of probiotics as an alternative feed additive has gained significant attention. The study aims to evaluate the effects of probiotics on the growth performance and gut health parameters of broiler chickens, focusing on factors such as body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, intestinal morphology, and immune response. The introductory chapter provides an overview of the background of the study, highlighting the increasing demand for safe and healthy poultry products. The problem statement underscores the challenges associated with traditional antibiotic use in poultry production and the potential of probiotics as a sustainable solution. The objectives of the study are outlined to investigate the specific effects of probiotics on broiler growth and gut health. The limitations and scope of the study are discussed, emphasizing the focus on broiler chickens and specific probiotic strains.
