Maintaining the gut health of poultry is crucial for ensuring optimal growth performance, disease resistance, and overall well-being. Probiotics have gained attention as a potential solution to enhance gut health in poultry by promoting beneficial microbial populations and improving nutrient absorption. This thesis investigates the impact of probiotics on the gut health of poultry through a series of experiments and analyses. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review on probiotics, gut health in poultry, and previous studies related to the topic.
