The Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) are crucial trade agreements between the European Union (EU) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) aimed at fostering economic development and trade relations. This research focuses on analyzing the effects of EPAs on agricultural trade between small and large economies in ECOWAS and the EU. The study examines how these agreements impact the agricultural sectors of both small and large economies within the ECOWAS region and explores the implications for trade dynamics with the EU. Through a comprehensive analysis of the existing literature, trade data, and policy documents, the research aims to provide insights into the differential effects of EPAs on small and large economies within ECOWAS. The study considers factors such as market access, tariff liberalization, and regulatory frameworks to assess the implications of EPAs on agricultural trade.
