Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the knowledge and awareness of agricultural students about agribusiness opportunities. Agribusiness encompasses a wide range of activities, including agricultural production, processing, marketing, and distribution. It plays a crucial role in the agricultural sector's economic growth and sustainability. However, there is a need to understand the level of knowledge and awareness among agricultural students regarding the potential agribusiness opportunities available to them. This study will employ surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions to gather data on agricultural students' understanding of agribusiness concepts, their knowledge of existing agribusiness ventures, and their perception of the challenges and opportunities in the agribusiness sector. The findings of this study will provide insights into the gaps in agricultural education related to agribusiness and inform strategies to enhance students' preparedness for agribusiness careers.
