The rapid advancement of mobile phone technology has opened up new opportunities for enhancing agricultural extension services in developing countries. This thesis examines the effectiveness of mobile phone technology in improving communication and knowledge dissemination in the agricultural sector. The study explores how various mobile phone applications, such as SMS alerts, voice messages, and mobile apps, can be utilized to provide timely information and advisory services to farmers, extension workers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural value chain. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on the use of mobile phone technology in agricultural extension services. This review covers various studies, theories, and frameworks that highlight the potential benefits and challenges associated with mobile phone interventions in agriculture. The review also examines the impact of mobile phone technology on knowledge sharing, farmer decision-making, and overall agricultural productivity. The methodology chapter outlines the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in this study.
