This thesis explores the utilization of mobile technology to enhance agricultural extension services in rural communities. The rapid advancement and widespread adoption of mobile technology have opened up new possibilities for improving communication, knowledge sharing, and access to information in the agricultural sector. However, there remains a gap in understanding how best to leverage these technologies to benefit rural farmers and extension workers effectively. This study aims to address this gap by investigating the potential of mobile technology in enhancing agricultural extension services in rural communities. The research begins with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on mobile technology and agricultural extension services. This review highlights the potential benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with the use of mobile technology in the agricultural sector. By synthesizing this literature, the study identifies key themes and gaps that inform the research methodology. The research methodology section outlines the approach taken to investigate the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services.
