The rapid advancement of mobile technology has transformed various sectors globally, including agriculture. This study aims to assess the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities. The research is crucial as it addresses the challenges faced by smallholder farmers in accessing timely and relevant agricultural information and services. By leveraging mobile technology, farmers can overcome constraints such as limited access to extension agents, inadequate resources, and lack of real-time information. The study will begin with a comprehensive literature review to explore the existing knowledge on mobile technology in agricultural extension services. This review will cover various aspects such as the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with implementing mobile technology in rural agricultural settings. Through a systematic analysis of relevant literature, the study seeks to identify gaps that can be addressed through empirical research. The research methodology will involve a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. Surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions will be conducted to gather insights from farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders involved in agricultural extension services. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical tools and qualitative analysis methods to draw meaningful conclusions.
