The use of mobile technology has been increasingly recognized as a valuable tool for enhancing agricultural extension services in rural communities. This thesis aims to assess the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities, with a focus on understanding the benefits, challenges, and implications of integrating mobile technology into existing extension programs. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with key stakeholders and quantitative surveys to gather comprehensive data on the subject. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a thorough literature review, examining existing research on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services and highlighting key findings and trends.
