Mobile technology has the potential to revolutionize agricultural extension services, offering new ways to disseminate information, provide support, and improve communication between farmers and extension agents. This thesis explores the impact of mobile technology in enhancing agricultural extension services, focusing on how mobile devices and applications can be utilized to improve access to information, training, and advisory services for farmers. The study investigates the current state of mobile technology adoption in agricultural extension, identifies challenges and opportunities, and assesses the effectiveness of mobile-based interventions in promoting sustainable agriculture practices. Chapter One provides an introduction to the topic, presents the background of the study, outlines the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and defines key terms. Chapter Two reviews relevant literature on mobile technology in agricultural extension, covering topics such as the role of mobile devices in information dissemination, the impact of mobile applications on farmer productivity, and best practices for implementing mobile-based extension services.
