However, the study also identified some limitations and challenges associated with the use of mobile technology in rural agricultural extension services, including issues related to connectivity, affordability, digital literacy, and sustainability. These challenges underscore the importance of addressing infrastructure gaps, providing training and support for users, and ensuring the long-term viability of mobile-based extension services. In conclusion, this thesis highlights the transformative potential of mobile technology in enhancing agricultural extension services in rural communities. By leveraging the benefits of mobile devices, stakeholders in the agricultural sector can improve information sharing, knowledge dissemination, and communication channels, ultimately leading to increased agricultural productivity, food security, and sustainable rural development.
