Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural communities. In recent years, mobile technology has emerged as a powerful tool for enhancing communication, information dissemination, and knowledge sharing in various sectors, including agriculture. However, the specific implications of mobile technology on agricultural extension services in rural areas have not been extensively studied. This research aims to fill this gap by exploring the effects of mobile technology on agricultural extension services and identifying the opportunities and challenges associated with its adoption in rural communities. The study will be guided by a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Data collection will involve surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions with farmers, agricultural extension workers, and other stakeholders in rural communities. The research will focus on assessing the current use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services, identifying the key factors influencing its adoption and effectiveness, and exploring the perceptions and experiences of users.
