This thesis explores the utilization of mobile technology for enhancing agricultural extension services in rural communities, focusing on its impact on information access, farmer empowerment, and overall agricultural productivity. The study investigates the current challenges faced by traditional extension services and examines how mobile technology can address these challenges effectively. The research methodology involves a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to understand the existing knowledge on mobile technology in agricultural extension and its implications for rural communities.
