The rapid evolution of mobile technology has provided new opportunities to enhance agricultural extension services in rural communities. This thesis explores the impact of mobile technology on improving agricultural extension services in rural areas, aiming to assess the effectiveness of utilizing mobile platforms to disseminate information, provide training, and facilitate communication among farmers and extension workers. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from farmers, extension workers, and other stakeholders in rural communities. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. The literature review in Chapter Two examines existing studies and theories related to agricultural extension services, mobile technology, and their intersection in rural contexts. The review identifies key factors influencing the adoption and impact of mobile technology in agricultural extension services. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and data analysis procedures.
