Climate change poses significant challenges to agriculture, with potential repercussions on crop yields and farmer income, particularly in developing countries where agriculture is a vital economic sector. This thesis aims to analyze the impact of climate change on crop yields and farmer income in a developing country context. The study focuses on understanding the relationship between changing climatic conditions and agricultural productivity, as well as examining the socioeconomic implications for farmers. The research begins with a comprehensive review of existing literature on climate change impacts on agriculture, highlighting key trends, methodologies, and findings. Building on this foundation, the study employs a mixed-method approach to investigate the specific case of a developing country, considering both quantitative data analysis and qualitative assessments through interviews and surveys with local farmers. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms.
