Climate change poses significant challenges to agricultural productivity and farmer livelihoods worldwide. This study aims to analyze the impact of climate change on crop yields and farmer income in a selected region, focusing on understanding the direct and indirect effects of changing climatic conditions on agricultural outcomes. By examining these relationships, this research seeks to provide valuable insights into the potential risks and opportunities that climate change presents for farmers in the selected region. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, presenting the background, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. The literature review in Chapter 2 explores existing research on climate change impacts on crop yields and farmer income, highlighting key findings and gaps in knowledge. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including data collection methods, sampling techniques, variables of interest, and analytical approaches. Chapter 4 presents a detailed discussion of the findings, including the statistical analysis of the data and the interpretation of results. The analysis will focus on identifying patterns and trends in crop yields and farmer income in relation to changing climatic conditions. The chapter will also explore potential adaptation strategies that farmers can employ to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change and enhance their resilience.
