Climate change has become a pressing global issue with far-reaching consequences, particularly in the agricultural sector of developing countries. This thesis aims to investigate the economic impacts of climate change on crop yields and farmer income in a developing country context. The study focuses on understanding how changing climatic conditions influence crop production and subsequently affect the livelihoods of farmers. Through a comprehensive analysis of data collected from agricultural regions in the selected developing country, this research examines the relationship between climate variability, crop yields, and farmer income. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. The literature review in Chapter 2 explores existing studies on climate change impacts on agriculture, crop yield modeling, economic implications for farmers, and adaptation strategies in developing countries. The theoretical framework guiding this research is based on agricultural economics principles and climate change literature.
