Climate change is a pressing global issue that poses significant challenges to agricultural productivity and food security, particularly in developing countries. This thesis aims to analyze the impact of climate change on agricultural productivity and food security in a specific developing country, examining the various factors that influence these outcomes. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, this study explores the complex relationship between climate change and agriculture, highlighting the vulnerabilities and risks faced by farmers in the face of changing climatic conditions. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two delves into a detailed literature review, discussing ten key factors that influence the impact of climate change on agricultural productivity and food security in developing countries. These factors include changes in temperature and precipitation patterns, extreme weather events, soil degradation, water scarcity, pests and diseases, access to technology and markets, policy frameworks, and adaptation strategies.
