This thesis investigates the economic impact of sustainable agricultural practices on smallholder farmers, with a focus on enhancing their livelihoods and promoting sustainable agricultural development. The study explores the various sustainable practices that can be adopted by smallholder farmers to improve their productivity, income, and overall well-being. The research is motivated by the need to address the challenges faced by smallholder farmers, such as limited resources, climate change, market access, and food security issues. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review that examines previous studies, theories, and best practices related to sustainable agricultural practices and their economic impact on smallholder farmers.
