This qualitative research study aims to understand the experiences of adult learners pursuing higher education. Semi-structured interviews will be conducted with 20 students aged 25 years and above enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs at a local community college. The interviews will explore their motivations for returning to education, challenges faced, support systems utilized, impact on personal and professional lives, and overall learning experiences. Thematic analysis of interview transcripts will be used to identify common themes in adult learners' journeys. The findings seek to provide insights for improving adult-friendly policies, programs and services at educational institutions.
