The abstract for the research content is as follows This study focuses on the internal control system in manufacturing industries in Nigeria. Internal control is crucial for organizations to ensure the achievement of objectives, reliability of financial reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, and efficiency of operations. In the context of manufacturing industries in Nigeria, internal control plays a significant role in safeguarding assets, preventing fraud, and enhancing overall performance. The research aims to investigate the current state of internal control systems in manufacturing industries in Nigeria, identify challenges faced by these industries in implementing effective internal control mechanisms, and propose recommendations for improvement. The study will utilize a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and document analysis, to gather data from a sample of manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on internal control systems in the context of Nigerian manufacturing industries.
