This research project aims to conduct a comparative study on the performance of secondary students in accounting from the years 2004 to 2008. The study will analyze the examination results of students taking accounting courses during this period to identify trends, patterns, and factors that may have influenced student performance. The research will involve collecting and analyzing data from secondary schools across different regions to provide a comprehensive overview of student achievements in accounting. The primary objective of this study is to assess how student performance in accounting has evolved over the five-year period and to determine whether there have been any significant changes or improvements. By comparing the results of students from different years, the research aims to identify any potential factors that may have contributed to variations in performance levels. These factors could include changes in the curriculum, teaching methods, student demographics, or external influences such as economic conditions or technological advancements. The research will utilize both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to gain a deeper understanding of the trends observed in student performance.
